Job Purpose

The Senior QA Automation Engineer role is a technical hands-on position which requires a solid understanding of Automation / Scripting concepts and basic Automation Testing terminology.

What You Will Do :

• Develop efficient and reusable automation code for new User Stories, and mentor other QA automation engineers.
• Review automation code created by Scrum Team to ensure compliance with best coding practices and standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and reliability.
• Continuously enhance and update automated test suites, contributing ideas for improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation in the development lifecycle.
• Work within Agile methodologies, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and planning sessions.
• Use and manage test and defect tracking tools like JIRA effectively.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges in test execution and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Document changes and maintain clear test artifacts.
• Act as an advisor or coach to junior team members, providing guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Other duties as assigned.
