Oracle APEX Developer

Description :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our engineering team as an individual contributor. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Oracle APEX application development along with a solid foundation in Java and database technologies such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.

This role requires a strong understanding of software design and development principles, the ability to build customized enterprise applications using Oracle APEX, and experience working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). The candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, team leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain customized applications using Oracle APEX.
• Act as an individual contributor, delivering end-to-end software solutions.
• Apply strong software design and development principles to build scalable and maintainable applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Oracle APEX, Java, and database technologies.
• Design, develop, and execute unit tests and test plans to ensure code quality.
• Estimate effort, scope, and timelines for assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Provide accurate and timely progress updates to the Project Manager and / or Team Lead.
• Assist in preparing design specifications and other technical documentation.
• Collaborate with documentation teams to ensure new features are properly documented.
• Participate in peer reviews of code, design documents, and test plans.
• Troubleshoot application issues, provide workarounds, and develop patches as required.
• Support user training activities and help resolve day-to-day production issues.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables while meeting project milestones and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Assist other team members in application development, technologies, and SDLC processes when required.
