Role Description

Growing digital marketing agency managing 15-25 clients across tech, finance, and marketing niches needs an experienced SEO Manager to own all SEO operations as we scale.

This is a full-time remote SEO management position owning all search engine optimization operations for our digital marketing agency serving 15-25 B2B clients across tech, finance, and marketing sectors. As SEO Manager, you'll have complete ownership of SEO strategy, execution, and results - from keyword research and content planning to technical optimization, performance monitoring, and client reporting.

Your focus will be on driving measurable organic traffic growth, improving search rankings, and ensuring client retention through consistent results and proactive communication. You'll manage content operations (coordinating with freelance writers), optimize existing content to move rankings from positions 4-15 into top 3, conduct technical SEO audits, and implement fixes in collaboration with our design / development team. This role requires independent decision-making, strategic thinking, and the ability to scale operations as we rapidly grow our client portfolio.

You'll be responsible for diagnosing traffic drops, identifying growth opportunities, creating monthly client reports, and maintaining transparent communication with clients. As we're actively experimenting with new scaling strategies and onboarding additional clients, you'll need to build efficient systems and processes that work across multiple accounts simultaneously. Success in this role means delivering tangible SEO results that drive business value - increased organic traffic, improved keyword rankings, and high client satisfaction leading to long-term retention.

What You'll Own :

• Keyword research and content strategy for all 20 clients
• Content optimization (move rankings from position 4-15 to top 3)
• Technical SEO audits and fixes
• Manage 2 freelance content writers
• Monthly client reporting and communication
• Daily traffic monitoring across all accounts
• On-page SEO and internal linking strategy
• Coordinate with design / dev team for implementations

Work Schedule :

Flexible hours with evening shift required (3 PM-12AM IST) when clients are most active. 8 hours daily, 6 days / week.
