Job Title : Institutional Equities Dealer

Location : Mumbai, India

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Institutional Equities Dealer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing trades, providing market insights, and delivering exceptional service to our institutional clients. This role requires a deep understanding of equity markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Execute buy and sell orders of equities on behalf of institutional clients.
  • Monitor market trends and provide clients with timely information and insights.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including mutual funds, hedge funds, and other financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with research analysts to provide clients with comprehensive market analysis and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during trading activities.
  • Manage trade settlements and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Stay updated on economic news, corporate announcements, and market developments.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in institutional equity trading or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of equity markets, trading strategies, and financial instruments.
  • Proficient in trading platforms and tools, with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with algorithmic trading and quantitative analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing the Indian equity markets.
  • Strong network within the institutional investment community.
