Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior SAP MM Consultant to take responsibility for the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of our SAP Materials Management (MM) landscape. This critical role requires deep functional expertise in core MM processes, with a specialized focus on optimizing complex Service Procurement workflows, including the technical implementation of IDocs for seamless integration. The consultant will serve as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational needs into robust SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• SAP MM Implementation & Configuration Core Configuration : Configure, test, and maintain all core SAP MM functionalities, including Material Master Data, Purchasing (P2P), Inventory Management (IM), Valuation, and Invoice Verification (LIV).
• Procurement Optimization : Optimize and standardize procurement processes across the organization, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Testing and Deployment : Conduct comprehensive unit, integration, and regression testing for all changes and new implementations.
• Specialized Service Procurement & Integration Service Procurement Mastery : Design and implement end-to-end solutions for Service Procurement (including defining service masters, service entry sheets, and integrated approvals).
• IDoc Management : Implement, manage, and troubleshoot IDocs (Intermediate Documents) specifically for Service Procurement processes, ensuring reliable communication and integration with external vendor systems and internal applications.
• Cross-Functional Integration : Support and configure integration points between the MM module and other key SAP modules, particularly Sales and Distribution (SD) and Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO).
• Requirements Gathering : Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders and end-users to gather detailed requirements, analyze existing processes, and accurately map them into effective SAP MM solutions and workflows.
• Documentation and Training : Develop high-quality end-user training materials and documentation. Conduct training sessions to ensure successful user adoption of new functionalities and changes.
• Troubleshooting and Support : Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for incidents, defects, and performance issues related to SAP MM, I-Docs, and Service Procurement processes in production and non-production environments.
