This role is key in ensuring accurate master data development, integration of maintenance workflows, and continuous improvement of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will play a vital part in supporting asset integrity and reliability across our offshore operations by maintaining a robust and efficient CMMS platform.

At OCS, you’ll be part of a high-performance team that values precision, reliability, and innovation. As a CMMS Data Specialist / CMMS Engineer , you’ll help shape digital maintenance excellence, enhance data integrity, and enable smarter decision-making across offshore and onshore assets.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain equipment registers, asset hierarchies, and classification structures in alignment with client, OCS, and international standards.
- Review and extract accurate data from P&IDs, SLDs, layouts, datasheets, OEM manuals, and engineering drawings.
- Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of CMMS master data.
- Collaborate with project teams, engineers, planners, and vendors to finalize equipment and maintenance data.
- Support data migration, system configuration, testing, and validation during CMMS project execution.
- Liaise with the ERP / IT team to define and implement business workflows for the CMMS system.
- Contribute to the development of maintenance and materials management data, functions, and strategies during CMMS build activities.
- Assist in configuring standard jobs, maintenance tasks, inspection checklists, and preventive maintenance plans.
- Develop and deliver CMMS training programs for end users.
- Provide end-user support for CMMS functionality, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Support user acceptance testing, audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance and inventory management.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Industrial, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).Equivalent educational background and / or relevant industry experience in a similar role will be considered.Experience & Skills
2–5 years of experience in maintenance management or CMMS-related roles within oil & gas, offshore, energy, or heavy industries.Documented experience from the marine or offshore industry.Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms such as IFS, SAP PM, Maximo, or similar.Strong understanding of asset data management, engineering documentation, and ERP-integrated maintenance workflows.Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NORSOK).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.Competencies & Leadership Attributes
