Role : Cloud Automation Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Automation Engineer to join our Automation AI project focused on enhancing build automation and operational assurance across a range of cybersecurity tools and platforms. This role requires hands-on experience with Python, AWS (Lambda, Glue, IAM), Snowflake, and SQL to build scalable, compliant, and intelligent automation pipelines.
You will contribute to building both the Ingress (data ingestion and system invocation) and Engress (validation and reconciliation logic) layers of the platform, ensuring seamless integration, data quality, and cybersecurity compliance.
Ingress Responsibilities (Data Ingestion & Trigger Layer) :
- Develop Python-based APIs to invoke downstream cybersecurity tools and automate workflows.
- Deploy and manage APIs using AWS Lambda with secure IAM roles.
- Integrate AWS Glue jobs for orchestrating and transforming incoming datasets.
- Interface with Snowflake to extract structured data like asset inventories, logs, and scan results.
Engress Responsibilities (Validation & Reconciliation Layer) :
Build and optimize SQL-based compliance logic to validate cybersecurity controls.Design and implement reconciliation modules to detect anomalies, mismatches, or deviations across builds.Ensure full traceability and auditability of logic decisions and outcomes.General Responsibilities :
Collaborate closely with onsite and offshore team members including backend engineers, data engineers, and architects.Participate in agile ceremonies and follow DevOps and CI / CD practices.Ensure secure, compliant, and scalable architecture across the automation framework.Maintain documentation and support knowledge transfer for long-term scalability.Required Skills & Experience :
Strong proficiency in Python for API development and automation scripting.Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and IAM roles for serverless orchestration.Solid understanding of Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse platform, including query optimization.Advanced SQL skills, especially for rule-based validations and data reconciliation logic.Familiarity with cybersecurity datasets (e.g., scan results, logs, compliance metadata) is a strong plus.Experience working in agile delivery models with a distributed team.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in compliance automation or cybersecurity data pipelines.Knowledge of logging, observability, and anomaly detection frameworks. Background in DevSecOps or security automation tooling.
