Job description

Lead the Data Engineering team in developing, testing, documenting, and supporting scalable data pipelines.

Collaborate with analytics and business teams to enhance data models, improving business intelligence tools, data accessibility, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Design and build data integrations, create a data quality framework, and write unit, integration, and functional tests while documenting the work.

Design, implement, and automate the deployment of distributed systems to collect and process streaming events from multiple sources.

Build new data integrations, including APIs, to accommodate increasing data volume and complexity.

Collaborate with analytics, business, and product teams to enhance data models and improve data accessibility, enabling robust business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.

Develop and implement scalable solutions that align with data governance and architectural standards for data integrations, storage, reporting, and analytics.

Perform root cause analysis on data-related issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them efficiently.

Mentor junior engineers, promoting best practices in coding, performance optimization, and cloud-native development.

Communicate effectively across all levels, influencing stakeholders and IT leaders to deliver impactful data solutions.

Partner with key stakeholders and IT leaders at all levels to deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Utilize extensive knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, DevOps, CI / CD, API integration, big data, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure).
