Product Enablement at Leapwork is the technical and documentation voice of the company, ensuring our products are understood clearly, both inside and outside Leapwork.

The Role

As a Senior Technical Writer within Product Enablement, you will ensure that every Leapwork release is clearly explained, accurately documented, and fully understood, both internally and externally.

Your work will focus on helping teams and customers understand new features and product improvements. You will facilitate understanding of product updates through external documentation, release notes, and complementary materials that make complex concepts simple and accessible.

You will create engaging, audience-focused content that supports the comprehension and adoption of the product. From product documentation and release notes to visual explainers, your work will help others grasp how Leapwork evolves.

You’ll collaborate with teams, including Product, Design, Marketing, and Customer Success, to ensure that all product information is communicated accurately and consistently.

We are looking for someone proactive, curious, and adaptable, with strong technical understanding and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain clear, accurate, and accessible documentation for product features, updates, and releases.
  • Write and edit release notes with an audience-focused narrative that highlights the most impactful product changes.
  • Support visual communication, helping transform complex updates into diagrams, infographics, or short videos.
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and tone across all documentation and release communications.
  • Anticipate information needs for upcoming releases and stay informed about product development cycles.
  • Collaborate with Product Enablement peers to improve documentation structure and accessibility for users.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to align messaging and accuracy.
  • Meet deadlines effectively and maintain high-quality standards in all deliverables.

Core Skills

  • High or business-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience in technical writing, with the ability to quickly adapt to new domains and complex systems. Experience in the software industry is a plus.
  • Strong ability to apply visual thinking and storytelling in documentation.
  • Familiarity with APIs, digital platforms, or technical processes is a plus.
  • Experience using content management and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of Agile workflows and product development cycles.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools or agentic systems to streamline content creation, improve productivity, or enhance content quality is a strong advantage.
  • Adaptable, self-directed, and reliable, able to meet deadlines and deliver consistent, high-quality work.
  • Collaborative team players who value transparency, respect, and open communication.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, scientific, or analytical fields, such as Engineering, Information Science, or a related discipline, or proven experience understanding and explaining complex systems.
  • Experience creating user-centered and visually engaging documentation that combines technical accuracy with clear structure and strong visual presentation.
  • Strong technical curiosity and growth-oriented mindset, combining analytical thinking with creativity to make complex ideas clearer, more engaging, and easier to understand.
