Staff Architect

Lead the architecture that saves lives. As a Staff Architect at Lytx, you'll shape the technical vision for a video telematics platform that protects over 1.3 million connected vehicles worldwide.

You'll serve as a key technical authority, driving enterprise-wide architectural strategy across diverse technology stacks (C# / .NET, Java, Python). Define API-first and microservices standards that engineering teams follow. Lead cross-functional initiatives that turn complex challenges into scalable solutions. Architect systems that process millions of real-time events, powering AI-driven insights that keep drivers safer.

YOU'LL GET TO

• Shape enterprise architecture strategy for systems managing 1.3M+ devices, defining technical roadmaps and owning non-functional requirements at scale
• Champion API-first design and microservices architecture across the organization—setting standards, creating reusable patterns, and leading architecture governance
• Drive innovation with AI / ML technologies, integrating intelligent capabilities into products and promoting AI tools to enhance team productivity
• Lead cross-functional projects across multiple technology stacks (C# / .NET, Java, Python), guiding teams through complex technical challenges
• Influence engineering direction through architecture reviews, technical advisement, and building consensus on critical decisions
• Mentor architects and engineers as a recognized technical authority, elevating organizational capabilities through coaching and knowledge sharing
• Conduct experiments and proofs of concept to evaluate emerging technologies with an evidence-based, bias-for-action approach
