Job descriptionPrepare and lodge annual tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts in accordance with statutory regulations.Draft and manage client correspondence related to tax queries and documentation follow-ups.Develop detailed workpapers referencing tax returns, trial balances, and financial support documents.Review and reconcile client accounting data in Xero, MYOB, and Excel, ensuring data integrity and compliance.Prepare special purpose financial statements for companies, trusts, and partnerships.Manage bookkeeping functions, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and invoice processing.Administer weekly payroll processing through Xero with accuracy and confidentiality.Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) in compliance with regulatory timelines.Assist in family trust distribution calculations, income tax estimates, and related compliance tasks.Support business advisory projects involving GST, CGT, FBT, and Division 7A matters.Maintain organized and compliant financial records for audit and review purposes.
