Job descriptionB.Tech in Ceramic Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control within the refractory monolithics or brick industry Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and protocols relevant to refractory manufacturing In-depth knowledge of ceramics and refractories Familiarity with refractory testing and characterization techniques Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication Understanding of mineralogy, crystallography, and phase diagrams Knowledge of refractory property–performance correlation and installation techniques Hands-on experience with testing and characterization tools used in refractory quality assessment Leadership qualities, including team-building and cross-functional coordination Ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively
Responsibilities
- Developing a safe working environment.
- Quality control of processes and products.
- Planning and execution of developmental work.
- Planning and execution of cost reduction of products.
- Handling inspection of finished goods.
- Control on incoming raw materials and timely evaluation.
- Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
- Reduction in quality complaints of products.
- Customization of products.
- Customer / supplier visit.
- Adherence to ISO, QMS and Calderys systems.
- Coordination with Marketing / R & D / Project / Application and Supply Chain.
- Training subordinates and monitoring their performance.
