Legal Entity Controller - Financial Accounting & Reporting - CA

Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Legal Entity Controller (LEC) to join our team in Mumbai.

The role involves overseeing financial reporting, statutory accounts, reconciliations, compliance, and management reporting, while ensuring robust governance and stakeholder management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing entity-level controllership, developing team members, and driving process re-engineering to achieve standardization and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review statutory financial statements and management accounts with variance analysis.
• Validate US Federal Reserve entity-level reporting.
• Oversee monthly reconciliations of accounts and balances.
• Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Company Secretarial, Legal, Compliance, and Product Controllers for entity activity.
• Manage implementation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships (internal, external auditors, regional service providers).
• Lead and mentor team members in Mumbai.
• Contribute to re-engineering and standardization of processes.
• Support entity set-up, ledger adaptation, and closure activities.
• Participate in ongoing entity-specific initiatives and projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting control frameworks.
