Role summary
You’ll own our brand voice and lead content that builds awareness, trust, and early demand. This is an owner / operator role — you’ll do strategy plus hands-on execution across blog, social, PR, and sales enablement. You should be comfortable moving fast with limited resources.
Key responsibilities
- Define & own brand positioning, messaging, and tone of voice.
- Create high-impact content : blog posts, thought leadership, case studies, customer stories, landing pages, email sequences, and social posts.
- Build a simple content playbook and editorial calendar; ship consistently.
- Run product storytelling and collateral for sales (one-pagers, pitch bullets, demo scripts).
- Lead basic PR & analyst outreach : press releases, bylines, founder interviews.
- Manage content distribution : LinkedIn, Twitter / X, newsletters, SEO basics, and partners.
- Support demand efforts with content-driven campaigns and nurture flows.
- Measure content & brand impact with simple metrics and iterate (traffic, MQLs, engagement).
- Work closely with Founders, Product, Sales, and Customer Success — turn product updates and early customers into stories.
- Manage freelancers / contract writers and a small content budget.
Must-have skills & traits
Strong writing and editing ability — concise, clear, persuasive.2–5 years in B2B marketing / content, ideally in SaaS or startups.Comfortable owning both strategy and execution — very hands-on.Basic SEO familiarity (keyword research, on-page optimization).Good at storytelling for technical or business audiences.Bias for action, fast learner, comfortable with ambiguity.Able to interview customers and convert interviews into case studies.
