We're looking for a Lead Graphic Designer who can bring stories, campaigns, and characters to life through compelling visual design. From pitch decks and comic frames to social media creatives, investor reports, UI assets, and motion graphics, you'll work across functions to create a consistent and inspiring visual identity for Mugafi.
You'll be instrumental in helping us scale our brand, build emotional resonance, and tell stories even before a single word is written.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve Mugafi's visual language across all brand touchpoints (digital, social, print, pitch decks, comics)
- Design creative templates and visual systems that can scale across teams and franchises.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to design assets for campaigns, launches, and events
- Translate creative briefs into high-quality visual concepts from static posts to dynamic motion graphics or animated reels
- Assist the IP development team in designing comic covers, title logos, visual posters, and promo materials for our flagship universes
- Create concept art or assist illustrators in defining the visual tone for new characters or story worlds
- Design high-impact pitch decks, investor summaries, reports, and internal documentation that communicate clearly and inspire confidence
Experience & Knowledge
4–7 years of design experience, preferably in a fast-paced startup, creative agency, or entertainment / media companyProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects); Figma or Canva knowledge is a plusStrong portfolio showcasing creativity across static, dynamic, and branded contentUnderstanding of storytelling, composition, and design for diverse formats (print, digital, motion)Skills
