Fleet Operations Director
Oversee vessel performance and maintenance to ensure compliance with international regulations. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of managed ships.
- Monitor vessel performance, shipboard maintenance, and repair programs to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and organize maintenance during the vessel's trade.
- Supervise the shipboard working organization in close cooperation with Masters and Chief Engineers.
Main Responsibilities :
Ensure vessels are inspected at regular intervals.Conduct damage claims and guarantee claims in a timely manner.Answer to vessel monthly reports.Budget Management :
Prepare vessels' budgets.Approve orders and invoices up to limit of authorization.Crew Management :
Monitor crew overtime in respect of company policy.Appraise senior officers.Certificates, Inspections, and Surveys :
Plan safety inspections, statutory, and classification surveys to maintain validity of certificates.Additional Responsibilities as Deputy Fleet Manager :
Liaise with Crew Management Dept for manning levels, periodical review of manning level, shipboard working organization, senior officers planning.Promote safety involvement and participation to investigations and lessons learnt throughout the fleet SIs.Key Qualifications :
Adequate knowledge of vessel and vessel systems and technical environment.Competent with various software, such as word, excel, power point, etc.Personal Attributes :
