Job descriptionCore Skills : Proficiency in 3D CAD design tools (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ArtiosCAD). Strong understanding of packaging design principles for folding cartons, rigid boxes, and corrugated formats. Knowledge of retail or e-commerce packaging design is an advantage. Additional Knowledge (Preferred) : Exposure to packaging optimization tools (CAPE Pack, ArtiosCAD) or simulation software (SolidWorks Simulation). Understanding of manufacturing processes such as die-cutting, folding, and assembly . Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain design concepts effectively. Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering , or a related field. Fresher candidates with training certification in 3D CAD design or packaging design are also eligible. 2–5 years of experience preferred for experienced applicants, especially in premium retail or consumer electronics packaging . Language : Fluency in English (spoken and written) required; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

About the Role :
We are seeking creative and technically skilled individuals to join our packaging design team. The role involves developing innovative, functional, and visually appealing packaging solutions that meet both design and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Packaging Design & CAD Development :
- Create 3D parametric CAD models and 2D technical drawings for diverse packaging formats.
- Use tools such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or ArtiosCAD .
- Ensure designs are functional, cost-effective, and align with brand and product needs.
- Material & Structural Design :
- Work with various packaging materials — corrugated boards, folding cartons, rigid boxes, molded fiber trays, etc.
- Translate 3D packaging designs into accurate 2D die-lines.
- Collaboration & Communication :
- Coordinate with internal and external design engineers, marketing teams, and clients.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment on design objectives and deliverables.
- Innovation :
- Stay updated on packaging trends, materials, and new technologies.
- Apply creative problem-solving to optimize packaging performance and aesthetics.
