The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Financial Reporting : - Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring they are accurate and comply with legal regulations.
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts. 2. Budget Management : - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and report on variances between actuals and budgets. 3. Tax Compliance : - Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations. 4. Accounts Payable and Receivable : - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable and receivable process.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy. 5. Auditing : - Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.7+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.Proficiency in accounting software (e.G., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office (Excel, Word).Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in the media or advertising industry.Knowledge of Indian financial regulations and standards.
