[Urgent Search] Regional Legal Manager

Job Description :

1. Non-Litigation Role – Focus on corporate legal functions, mortgage documentation, and compliance.

2. Review and appraise legal opinion reports and assess cases on legal aspects.

3. Strong knowledge of mortgage laws and local property laws of respective States (mandatory).

4. Well-versed with documentation required to create valid mortgages in State

5. Build and manage a robust network of local advocates across State for empanelment and legal support.

6. Handle and resolve legal queries raised by internal and external auditors.

7. Lead and manage a team of 10+ legal professionals across respective State

8. Oversee and manage empaneled vendors and advocates across State

9. Exposure to basic litigation matters and good liaison with peer legal professionals across industries will be considered an advantage.

Qualification & Experience :

1. LL.B (Law Graduate) and registered as an Advocate with the State Bar Council.

2. Minimum 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 10+ years in corporate legal roles within the Mortgage / Banking / NBFC / HFC sector.
