Purpose of the role –
This role will work closely with Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) Client Coverage bankers, CME, Markets and Products teams, as well as Legal, Treasury, Credit Risk and operations with the aim of driving business growth and efficiently delivering an excellent experience for customers.
The position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to develop their analytical and structuring skills, as well as client relationship management skills, and to play a key role in driving superior client outcomes and delivering world class client relationships.
Key Accountabilities-
Continuously seek to optimise the return on capital deployed and resources invested by the business
Attend client meetings where appropriate to support business outcomes and conduct research to develop sector expertise and awareness of market trends; and
Maintain an ongoing awareness of NAB’s credit policy, credit and market risk and internal risk appetite.
Required Experience-
6-10 years of experience in banking experience,
including hands-on exposure to credit analysis (Both PD and LGD) and compliance processes.
Proficient in Excel with moderate to advanced Excel skills.
Strong Team Player with experience collaborating in dynamic environment.
Prior experience in credit rating, with a solid understanding of portfolio monitoring and risk mitigation.
Should be comfortable working with global teams.
Essential capabilities
Fully grasp the relevant macro risks and have a good level of knowledge on the regulatory environment; and
Understanding of risk management.
