Chief Manual Expert(System)

1. Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the development and management of system manuals ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
• Define and implement strategies for creating updating and maintaining system documentation.
• Mentor and guide a team of technical writers editors and system analysts to deliver high-quality outputs.

2. Technical Expertise

• Oversee the creation of detailed system manuals operational guidelines and troubleshooting documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering IT and operations teams to gather technical information and translate it into user-friendly manuals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in all documentation.

3. Process Optimization

• Develop and standardize templates tools and processes for documentation to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Identify gaps in existing manuals and implement solutions to enhance usability and accessibility.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure documentation evolves with system updates and organizational changes.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as the primary point of contact for all system documentation-related queries and requirements.
• Work closely with project managers system architects and quality assurance teams to ensure documentation supports project deliverables.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to promote the effective use of system manuals.

5. Quality Assurance

• Conduct regular audits and reviews of system manuals to ensure accuracy relevance and completeness.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to gather input from end-users and stakeholders for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical documentation and system manual development.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
• Certification in technical writing system documentation or a related discipline is a plus.

Additional Information :

• 20 years of experience in system documentation technical writing or a similar role.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale documentation projects.
• Experience in industries such as IT engineering manufacturing or telecommunications.
