Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design : Analyze business requirements for ecommerce and marketplace platforms, translating them into scalable, robust technical solutions.
• Development : Design and implement features that support marketplace scalability, including multi-vendor capabilities, inventory management, and dynamic pricing models.
• Integration Expertise : Build and integrate APIs for third-party services such as payment gateways, logistics providers, marketing tools, and seller management systems.
• Performance Optimization : Ensure high performance and availability of marketplace systems, including optimizing page load times, search functionality, and transaction processes.
• Scalability : Architect solutions to handle growing marketplace traffic, vendor onboarding, and product catalog expansion.
• Data Strategy : Work with large data sets, ensuring effective integration and processing of customer, vendor, and product data.
• Customer Experience : Collaborate with UX / UI teams to optimize customer and vendor journeys, including advanced search, personalization, and checkout flows.
• Compliance and Security : Ensure marketplace compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS) and implement fraud prevention and secure payment mechanisms.
• Cloud Deployment : Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy, monitor, and maintain scalable ecommerce and marketplace systems.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentorship and Leadership : Guide junior engineers and contribute to team development by sharing best practices and expertise.
