Hiring : Database Developer (PostgreSQL & MongoDB) | 5+ Years Experience I Remote

Mapsted is looking for an experienced Database Developer (PostgreSQL & MongoDB) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement & maintain MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB databases

Optimize queries, indexing & performance for high-volume systems

Manage backups, replication, and disaster recovery

Ensure data security, integrity & availability

Collaborate on schema design with Dev & DevOps teams

Monitor DB performance & automate maintenance tasks

Support SQL ↔ NoSQL migrations

Mandatory Skills

5+ years experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Strong SQL & query optimization skills

Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and monitoring tools

Understanding of data modeling & ETL workflows

Knowledge of cloud databases (AWS RDS, Aurora, MongoDB Atlas)

✨ Good to Have

Experience with HA, replication, clustering

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI / CD

Strong troubleshooting & communication skills
