About the Role
We’re looking for a Shopify Full Stack Developer who is passionate about building seamless, high-performing, and visually stunning e-commerce experiences. You’ll work across Shopify’s front-end and back-end layers, developing custom themes, extending Shopify’s capabilities using Liquid and TypeScript, and integrating APIs to deliver scalable, optimized storefronts.
If you enjoy turning design mockups into pixel-perfect, fast-loading storefronts and love solving complex e-commerce challenges using clean, maintainable code, this role is for you.
Technical Skillsets Frontend
- Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid , TypeScript , HTML5 , CSS3 , and Bootstrap .
- Experience building and customizing Shopify themes from scratch.
- Deep understanding of responsive design , cross-browser compatibility , and performance optimization .
- Knowledge of frontend best practices , including accessibility, modular CSS, and lazy loading.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React (for headless or Hydrogen-based setups).
- Strong grasp of version control systems (Git, GitHub).
- Ability to collaborate closely with UI / UX designers to ensure accurate implementation of visual designs.
Backend / Shopify Ecosystem
Strong understanding of Shopify’s data models (Products, Collections, Customers, Orders, etc.).Experience developing custom Shopify apps using Node.js , TypeScript , or Ruby on Rails .Expertise in working with Shopify APIs — Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL.Knowledge of webhooks , API authentication (OAuth) , and Shopify Plus workflows.Ability to design efficient custom integrations with third-party tools (ERP, CRM, analytics, or marketing systems).Understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs , rate limits, and data caching techniques.Infrastructure / DevOps
Experience managing deployments for Shopify themes and private apps.Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and version-controlled theme deployment workflows.Understanding of web performance monitoring , CDN optimization , and error tracking .Comfortable working with Shopify CLI and build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar).Quality & Testing
Experience designing and executing manual and automated testing for e-commerce functionality.Strong focus on bug-free releases , QA collaboration , and cross-device testing .Understanding of SEO best practices , structured data , and page performance metrics (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals).Non-Technical Skillsets Problem Solving
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex front-end or API-related issues.Ability to design scalable and maintainable codebases in fast-paced environments.Creative problem-solving with a practical mindset toward real-world e-commerce challenges.Communication
