Our nutrition department focuses on pre-operative and post-operative diet management, lifestyle modification, and patient education . We also emphasise research, knowledge-sharing, and training of future nutrition professionals through structured internship programs.

Role Description

This is an internship role for Nutrition Interns at Aastha Healthcare, Mulund. The internship provides comprehensive hands-on training across multiple domains of clinical and practical nutrition.

Interns will actively participate in :

Clinical Exposure : Assisting in OPD & IPD patient consultations, preparing diet plans, and conducting nutritional assessments.
Training & Academics : Weekly topic presentations (Nutrition, Human Anatomy, Clinical Dietetics), case study presentations, and assignments.
Patient Care & Education : Preparing nutrition case studies, contributing to support group meetings, awareness seminars, and patient workshops.
Content Development : Writing blogs, Quora answers, preparing educational scripts, and supporting video creation for patient education.
Administrative Tasks : Data entry, patient documentation, and report preparation.

This role is on-site, full-time and designed to provide interns with real-world exposure to bariatric nutrition, patient-centred counselling, research, and communication skills .

Qualifications

Background in Nutrition / Dietetics (B.Sc., M.Sc., Diploma / PG Diploma, or currently pursuing)

Strong interest in clinical nutrition, bariatric care, and patient education (preferred, not mandatory)

Good communication and presentation skills

Ability to work in a team and adapt to clinical environments

Basic skills in MS Office / documentation (can learn during internship)

Creative inclination for content writing or video-based education (preferred, not mandatory)
