Senior Data Engineer (Informatica Platform Engineer / Administrator) – Bangalore

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Informatica platform administration to join our Group IT Data Engineering team .

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy building and maintaining enterprise-grade data platforms that power large-scale data initiatives.

🔹 Key Responsibilities :

Install, configure, and administer Informatica PowerCenter / DEI / BDM environments
Manage platform performance, security, and version upgrades
Automate tasks using Python / Shell scripting
Handle incident management, system health checks, and performance optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data projects and best practices

🔹 Required Skills & Experience :

6+ years in IT with 4+ years in Informatica Platform Engineering / Administration

Strong knowledge of ETL performance tuning and data pipeline optimization

Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Big Data technologies

Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence)

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Informatica certification is a plus
