Job description

Develops database from project specifications and statement of problem and procedures

to create or modify computer database programs applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.

Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases. Knowledge and Skillsets include Oracle,

DB2, Sybase, ADABAS, SQL Server, Informix, Linux, and decision support systems such as COGNOS and BOA. Coordinate changes to computer databases,

test and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. Prepares or receives DataBase

Analyst flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate a sequence of steps the program must follow and describe logical operations involved.
