Epicor ERP Technical Consultant (Immediate Start)

Job descriptionDevelop solutions based on customer requirements. Carry out the system analysis and the detailed design process, and ensure that the end product is delivered on time and within budget Carry out solution development which will involve the following : Detailed Design based on the gaps identified between Epicor ERP and the customer requirements. Prepare and execute Unit Test Cases Develop functionalities which will involve developing new forms, customizing existing forms using Visual Studio c#, Epicor Embedded Tools and upgrading customizations to newer version. Develop custom reports using Crystal Reports or SSRS. Provide post deployment support to the implementation team until the product is live and transition to support phase. Software Configuration Management and source code control. Produce various statistics and periodic reports as per the company requirements. Must have development and implementation experience in an Epicor ERP 10 or above. Must be certified in Epicor ERP Tools Must have development experience in Visual Studio.NET platform and in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher. Should have a development experience using Object Oriented and Service Oriented Architecture. Must have demonstrable knowledge experience in c# and linq Must have demonstrable knowledge of web applications using Microsoft .Net platform. Must have developed reports using reporting tools like SSRS or Crystal Reports Must be able to independently create and perform unit test cases. Be able to effectively use test case management and defects management software. Must have previously worked in an environment where standard Software Development Methodology like Agile was being followed and has demonstrable knowledge of tools like TFS, version control system and be able to follow set processes within the organization. Ability to travel abroad for a period of one to three months at a stretch. Candidates who are not working on Microsoft products stack may not apply Indian Salary as per industry & experience. When Onsite at Client in East Africa : You get Additional Daily $ Allowance, Shared Apartment with other team member or Hotel, Transport to / fro client office, security, travel insurance Client onsite will be for 1 Week to 2 / 3 months depending on requirement.
Company details : Company is a well-established IT Solution organization since 25+ years, catering to Tanzania and neighbouring Countries in Africa. Company culture is diversified with Indian and other nationalities.
- The role may require you to Visit Client onsite in Africa - expected period of a single tenure is 1 week to 3 months, depending on the requirement.
Client locations currently are neighbouring Countries Malawi, Lesotho, Ghana, Uganda, and Rwanda.

Experience : Must have minimum of 3 years of experience in Programming / Application Development for ERP systems.
Education : Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with major in Software Engineering, or equivalent.
