Job description

Role Purpose

To prepare detailed and coordinated BIM-based working drawings for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate MEP drawings with architectural and civil layouts.
  • Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project standards.
  • Prepare multiservice coordination details across HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
  • Resolve design and site-related technical issues.
  • Maintain drawing logs, ISO documentation, and daily work records.
  • Issue approved drawings to site and prepare record drawings.
  • Support quality assurance and identify additional work requirements.

Key Skills

  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BIM tools (Navisworks).
  • Strong knowledge of :
  • HVAC : Chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, smoke control.
  • Electrical : MV / LV systems, lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, BMS, UPS, solar.
  • Plumbing / Fire Fighting : Drainage, water supply, sanitary fittings, LPG / CNG, fire protection.
  • Ability to perform sizing and load calculations (ducts, pipes, cables, pumps, fans).
  • Familiarity with international and GCC codes (Dubai / Abu Dhabi).
  • Strong communication and drawing interpretation skills.

    • Education & Experience

  • Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or ITI (Full-time).
  • 8–10 years of experience in MEP drafting, with 5+ years in building construction drawings.
  • 2+ years of Revit and 3D modeling experience.
  • International (GCC) and site execution experience preferred.
