Role Objective
To support
end-to-end contract lifecycle management
Projects / EPC and O&M contracts
from
post-finalization through execution, operations, and closure , ensuring contractual compliance, recovery of entitlements, dispute management, and strong governance to protect schedule, performance, generation outcomes and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Lifecycle Management
Oversee
end-to-end administration of Projects / EPC and O&M contracts
from post-finalization to contract closure.
Ensure contracts are administered in line with agreed scope, timelines, commercial terms, and governance standards.
Act as the central point for interpretation and application of contractual provisions during execution and operations.
Contractual Compliance & Enforcement
Track and enforce
contractual obligations , including :
Milestones completion and Delay Guarantees
Performance Guarantees and PR / availability obligations
Warranty conditions and obligations
Monitor compliance across all agreements and flag deviations impacting schedule, performance, or revenue.
Claims, LDs & Warranty Recovery
Oversee
recovery / exposure of liquidated damages, warranty claims, and other contractual claims .
Evaluate entitlement positions and recommend commercial, contractual, or legal actions.
Support timely issuance of notices to preserve rights and remedies.
Dispute Resolution
Support
dispute resolution with vendors and subcontractors , in coordination with Procurement and Legal teams.
Support negotiation, settlement, or escalation of disputes in line with contractual provisions and governance framework.
Contract Governance & Documentation
Ensure
timely documentation, amendments, variations, and closures
of contracts.
Maintain compliance with internal approval matrices and governance standards.
Support audit readiness through disciplined record keeping.
Contract Repository & Reporting
Maintain a
centralized contract repository
with complete and current documentation.
Develop and maintain
contract MIS and reporting dashboards
for management visibility on :
Contract status
Milestone adherence
Claims, LDs, and disputes
Warranty and performance issues
Desired Candidate – Experience & Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Engineering
mandatory).
Additional qualification in
Law / Management / Finance
preferred.
Formal training or certification in
contracts / commercial management
will be an advantage.
Experience
8–12 years
of relevant experience in
contract management, commercial management, or project contracts
within the
renewable energy or infrastructure sector .
Hands-on experience in
post-award contract administration
for EPC contracts, O&M contracts, OEM supply and service agreements
Proven experience in :
Tracking contractual obligations, milestones, and performance guarantees
Managing
liquidated damages, warranty claims, and entitlement recovery
Handling
EOTs, variations, claims, and dispute resolution
in coordination with Legal and Procurement
Strong exposure to
project execution and operations phases
of renewable energy assets.
Practical understanding of
Indian contract law and renewable sector regulatory environment .
