Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Senior Test Automation Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our quality engineering team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications by taking accountability for the full test lifecycle process.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in test automation, deep knowledge of various testing cycles, and a commitment to continuous improvement through modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Test Lifecycle Ownership : Take accountability for the full test lifecycle process, including planning, design, execution, and reporting for all assigned projects.
• Automation Design & Implementation : Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks (UI, API, and Data) to achieve continuous testing and increase test coverage efficiency.
• Code Collaboration : Work closely with Developers to ensure code testability by providing technical input during the design and development phases.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure that all developed software meets quality and performance standards prior to release through rigorous testing and defect management.
• Testing Expertise : Demonstrate strong experience in executing all phases of the full test life cycle, including System Testing (ST), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and be proficient in preparing detailed test scenarios.
• Specialized Testing : Apply strong experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing for data pipeline validation and Web portal testing for functional and UI consistency.
• Data Validation : Utilize experience with Databases (SQL / NoSQL) to validate data transformations, integrity, and backend operations critical for ETL and application logic.
• Engineering Practices : Embrace continuous learning of engineering practices to promote the adoption of industry best practices and technology, including DevOps, Cloud, and Agile thinking.
