Research Associate - Assay Development and Screening

Responsibilities–

• Effectively handle animalmodels & allied activities :

oDevelopment of biochemical and cell based in Vitro assay's using various technologies (Fluorescence Polarization, HTRF, FRET, BRET, TR-FRET, Luminescence, AlphaScreen, AlphaLisa etc)

oScreening of NCE's using validated biochemical and cell based in vitro assay's using different technologies as specified above

oHands on experience in setting up qPCR, western blot assays

oPreparing SOP drafts of validated biochemical and cell based assays

oDrafting technical write up's for proposals to be submitted to clients

oExperimenting record management

oLaboratory equipment management

oFollow safety SOPs definedfor cell culture

oMaintenance and usage ofequipment / instruments as per SOPs and general housekeeping norms.

oMaintainstrict data integrity and adhere to related policies.

oEnhanceknowledge in the work area through formal and informal means of learning

oFocuson developing behavioral competencies through behavioral workshops and feedbackdiscussion with manager

Required Educational Qualification :

o Experience :  1-3 years after in an industry set up

o MSc / M .Tech in any of the applied biological sciences (Eg., Biotechnology,Microbiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry etc.)
