About the Role
As a Source to contract, you will play a critical role in driving sourcing excellence, optimizing supplier relationships, and enabling cost efficiencies for our clients. This role requires strong procurement expertise, analytical capabilities, and the ability to lead negotiations and contract processes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using the client’s strategic sourcing framework.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through negotiations, event-driven activities, and alternate sourcing approaches.
- Lead commercial negotiations and draft simple to complex contractual agreements.
- Support Category Managers in managing supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, capability development, quality enhancement, risk mitigation, and overall value delivery.
- Serve as an escalation point for the Source-to-Contract (S2C) team, addressing operational challenges and collaborating with the Regional Delivery Lead or Category Manager as needed.
- (If applicable) Manage team objectives, performance reviews, training, competency development, and career growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields preferred).Required Skills
Strong understanding of strategic sourcing methods and category-level procurement practices.Expertise in one or more indirect spend categories (e.G., Professional Services, IT Services), including market dynamics, supplier landscape, and procurement best practices.Ability to define appropriate procurement strategies aligned with category and business requirements.Proficiency in drafting various types of commercial contracts and agreements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and stakeholder-management capabilities.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design tailored procurement solutions.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Leadership capability with experience motivating and guiding team members.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools—Excel, Word, PowerPoint.📩 To Apply : Send your resume to siddharth.sankpal@wns.com
