Hiring : Restaurant Captain – The Cape Goa

Iconic Resort & Restaurant | Cabo de Rama, South Goa

The Cape Goa — one of India’s most breathtaking cliffside resorts overlooking the Arabian Sea — is looking for an experienced, confident, and guest-focused Restaurant Captain to join our front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities

Floor Leadership

  • Support the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager in leading service.
  • Maintain calm control during busy shifts and ensure smooth coordination across service, bar, and kitchen teams.

Guest Service Excellence

  • Lead by example with attentive, friendly, and professional service.
  • Anticipate guest needs, handle requests promptly, and resolve issues with confidence and care.
  • Training & Team Development

  • Guide junior GSAs, runners, and new team members.
  • Uphold The Cape Goa’s standards of service, presentation, and professionalism.
  • Attention to Detail

  • Ensure accurate ordering, efficient table setups, and smooth clearings.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and overall presentation.
  • Communication & Coordination

  • Relay guest feedback or concerns to management promptly.
  • Foster strong teamwork across all service departments.
  • Qualifications

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a quality restaurant or resort service role.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills;
  • confident and approachable.

  • Well-presented, organised, and reliable under pressure.
  • Fluent in English;
  • Hindi / Konkani an advantage.

  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
