About The Role
We are seeking a talented and innovative Engineer-Mechanical to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components, contributing to cutting-edge projects that drive our organization forward.
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using advanced engineering principles
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings using CAD software
- Conduct engineering calculations and analyses to ensure product performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other engineering disciplines
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to validate designs
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to resolve engineering challenges
- Implement design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality control processes
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree preferredProfessional Engineering (PE) license is a plus3+ years of experience in mechanical engineeringAdvanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and best practicesProficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCADExperience with simulation and analysis tools like ANSYS and FEAStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsIn-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and manufacturing processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsInnovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvementFamiliarity with 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologiesKnowledge of materials science and selectionExperience with product lifecycle management (PLM) softwareAbility to work efficiently in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented approach to design and documentationWillingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the fieldSkills Required
