Senior SAP BTP Integration Suite Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP BTP Integration Suite Consultant with 10+ years of overall experience, including a minimum of 3 end-to-end implementations, to lead complex integration projects and drive digital transformation for enterprise clients. This role focuses on architecting, developing, and optimizing integration solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and related tools for seamless connectivity across hybrid environments.

This is a senior-level position ideal for consultants with deep expertise in SAP integrations, offering opportunities to work on global projects with flexible remote options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of integration flows using SAP BTP Integration Suite, handling SOAP, REST, OData, and microservices architectures for on-premise to cloud and cloud-to-cloud scenarios.
  • Conduct integration assessments, proof-of-concepts, and migrations from legacy middleware like SAP PI / PO to BTP, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and stakeholders, to analyze requirements, develop specifications, and deliver solutions aligned with EAI / SOA best practices
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, perform unit / integration testing, and provide production support, including monitoring, error handling, and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes, architecture, and configurations; mentor junior team members and promote best practices
  • Stay updated on SAP BTP advancements, such as SAP Build, Analytics Cloud, and Cloud Connector, and contribute to agile / scrum-based project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols (e.g., OAuth2, SAML) and support data management in tools like SAP HANA Cloud.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP integration technologies, with a minimum of 3 full end-to-end implementations using SAP BTP Integration Suite or similar iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi)
  • Proven expertise in Groovy scripting, XSLT transformations, adapters (e.g., SFTP, IDoc, JDBC), and integration patterns like synchronous / asynchronous or pub-sub
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and hybrid integration scenarios.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for executive-level interactions and team collaboration

    • Preferred Skills

  • Certification in SAP BTP Integration Suite or related SAP technologies
  • Experience with programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or ABAP, and tools such as SAP Integration Advisor or Business Application Studio
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, ITIL frameworks, and enterprise architecture in industries like utilities or manufacturing.
  • Willingness to travel (0-10%) and handle on-call duties for critical support.
