Senior : Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable test automation framework and manual testing processes
Develop functional and regression automation code from test case requirements
Triage, diagnose, report, track, and resolve software quality issues
Ensure the appropriate testing and monitoring tools / technologies are configured accordingly with the test objectives / project team requirements
Identify required improvements in the test and development processes, make contributions to used automation tools, successfully address specific needs
Communicate effectively across multiple teams to ensure cohesion and collaboration

Requirements

7+ years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer

3+ years of experience in building and executing automated tests

Strong Quality Assurance knowledge : managing testing processes, risk-based testing, testing documentation, and testing techniques.

Experience with at least one of the following programming languages : Java, Python

Strong Test Automation fundamentals and hands on experience with automation tools at the End to End, API and Unit testing levels (i.e : Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, or similar)

Experience with monitoring tools and performance testing tools.

Strong Experience in database and ETL testing, preferably with MSSQL, IBM Db2, MariaDB, or SAP ASE / Sybase DB. Experience using QuerySurge is a plus.

Experience with test automation within CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar

Knowledge of test case management using qTest or similar

Excellent spoken and written English

Strong desire to learn and improve

A significant advantage would be

ISTQB Foundation Certification

Experience with Mobile testing, including automation

Experience or familiarity with Model Driven Testing

Experience with test case optimization concepts, including Combinatorial Testing and Orthogonal Array Testing

Experience with Hexawise, ConformIQ or similar tools

Experience in an Agile development environment
