Software Development Engineer I - Backend Engineering

We are seeking a passionate SDE-1 (Backend Engineer) who is eager to build scalable backend systems and grow into a strong backend specialist. You will work closely with senior engineers to design and implement core services in Golang, integrate with Kafka for event-driven workflows, and build robust REST APIs powering our applications.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Golang.
• Implement REST APIs and ensure high performance and reliability.
• Work with Kafka to build and consume event-driven systems.
• Contribute to database design and query optimization in both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with proper documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, learning from peers while improving overall code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, QA, DevOps).
