Job description

Role Summary

You will lead our direct-to-consumer website performance, focusing on revenue, profitability, customer experience, retention, and brand growth. This is a senior strategic and hands-on role, where you’ll not only define and execute growth strategies but also drive innovation to continuously improve sales performance and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own site performance : traffic, conversion rate, site speed, UX (mobile and desktop), navigation
  • Merchandising & content : product pages, catalog management, visuals, banners, product descriptions, SEO
  • Plan & execute promotions, sales & new product launches
  • Analyze data & metrics (GMV, AOV, bounce rates, cart abandonment, retention, repeat purchases) and suggest improvements
  • Manage budget : forecast site investments, spend on campaigns, tools, tech;

ensure ROI on site improvements

  • Retention & CRM : manage email, SMS, loyalty, reviews, win-back campaigns
  • Inventory & fulfillment coordination to avoid stockouts and ensure timely delivery
  • Cross-functional collaboration : marketing, creative / design, tech, operations and supply chain
  • Leadership : mentor & manage team, set KPIs, manage performance
  • Monitor competitive landscape, trends & innovations;
  • stay ahead of competition

    Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field;
  • MBA or Master’s is a plus.

  • 5-8+ years of experience in e-commerce / D2C roles, with at least some years in leadership or senior roles.
  • Proven track record of managing budgets, forecasting spend, and delivering against financial targets.
  • Proficient with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento or similar), analytics tools, A / B testing, conversion optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to drive decisions using data.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • GMV growth of D2C site
  • Improvement in conversion rates & Average Order Value (AOV)
  • Retention / repeat purchase rate
  • Budget adherence & ROI from site investments
  • Reduction in site drop-offs, bounce rates, cart abandonment
  • Customer experience metrics (site speed, complaints, reviews)
