Everyone rolls up their sleeves when needed.The Role.- TL;DR : We’re looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping, emotion-driven content.- As our in-house Video Editor, you’ll help shape how LightYears shows up across platforms, creating thumb-stopping reels, ads, testimonials, and brand films that inspire action and spark curiosity.What you’ll do : - Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, campaigns, and paid ads.- Bring ideas to life : Collaborate with our Brand Strategist and Creative team to translate concepts into engaging visual stories.- Optimize for platforms : Edit and adapt videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and ads (different formats, lengths, and tones).- Work with creators : Help compile, refine, and stylize creator / UGC footage into cohesive edits.- Add polish : Use motion graphics, text overlays, and sound design to elevate storytelling.- Maintain consistency : Uphold brand tone, color grading, and visual identity across edits.- Meet tight deadlines : Work with agility on quick-turnaround reels and daily content.Where and how?- This is an in-person role based out of our Mumbai office.(The bare minimum) qualifications.- 2–3 years of experience in video editing (agency, D2C brand, or creator side preferred).- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, or After Effects / Final Cut Pro.- Strong understanding of social media formats, pacing, and trends.- Basic knowledge of color grading, transitions, and sound mixing.Traits we value.- Storyteller’s eye : You understand how visuals, pacing, and sound come together to create impact.- Creative problem solver : You’ll often be working with limited footage or quick turnarounds, your creativity makes the difference.- Agility & adaptability : You can switch from editing a brand film to a 10-second reel seamlessly.- Attention to detail : Every frame, beat, and transition matters.- Collaborative mindset : You love brainstorming and working closely with creative teams.- Interest in health & fitness : You don’t need to be a gym rat, but curiosity about wellness and longevity is a plus.Interested?
