About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our content team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of editing basics, a good eye for storytelling, and the ability to work with short-form and long-form content. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, experiment, and grow in a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, campaigns, and brand projects.

Assist senior editors in assembling raw footage, selecting clips, and sequencing videos.

Add music, transitions, captions, and basic motion graphics as required.

Ensure brand consistency and creative quality across all video deliverables.

Work closely with the content, design, and creative teams to understand project requirements.

Manage and organize video assets, project files, and backups.

Stay updated with current editing trends, platform formats, and popular content styles.

Skills & Requirements

Basic to intermediate knowledge of editing software : Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve.

Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).

Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of color correction, sound editing, and basic animation is a plus.

A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous editing work (mandatory).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).

1 to 2 years of experience in video editing (internships / freelance work counted).
