Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with proven experience in the SecurityOperations (SecOps) module to lead the design, development, and implementation of security-centricsolutions on the ServiceNow platform.The ideal candidate will have strong platform knowledge, hands-on experience with both OOB andcustom SecOps functionalities, and a solid background in building custom catalog items and integrationsfor security workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow SecOps modules, including : Security IncidentResponse (SIR) Vulnerability Response (VR) Threat Intelligence (TI) Develop and customizeService Catalog items specific to security use cases, including dynamic forms, workflows, andautomation.
  • Configure and enhance out-of-the-box SecOps functionalities and implement custom componentswhere required.
  • Work directly with SOC teams, security analysts, and stakeholders to gather and refine technicalrequirements.
  • Develop client-side and server-side scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies,Client Scripts, and Scheduled Jobs.
  • Design and implement REST / SOAP integrations with third-party security tools and platforms.
  • Follow and enforce secure development practices, RBAC controls, and platform governance.
  • Collaborate in Agile development processes and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Document technical solutions, configurations, and changes for knowledge sharing and auditreadiness.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Strong hands-on expertise with ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) modules : SecurityIncident Response (SIR) Vulnerability Response (VR) Threat Intelligence Proficient in developingService Catalog items and automating workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript-based client / server scripting.Experience in building and maintaining REST and SOAP-based integrations with external securitytools.
  • Skilled in enforcing RBAC, creating ACLs, and applying secure development practices.
  • Familiar with Scoped Application development, update sets, and platform lifecycle management.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Effective communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and businessstakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SecOps ServiceNow Certified SystemAdministrator
  • Familiarity with : Threat frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX / TAXII) Vulnerability and risk scoringstandards (CVSS, NVD)
  • Experience integrating tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Splunk, CrowdStrike, etc.
  • Role Proficiency :

    Act creatively to develop applications by selecting appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. Account for others' developmental activities; assisting Project Manager in day to day project execution.

    Outcomes :

    Interpret the application feature and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.

    Code debug test document and communicate product component and feature development stages.

    Validate results with user representatives integrating and commissions the overall solution.

    Select and create appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components while creating own solutions for new contexts

    Optimises efficiency cost and quality.
