Senior Windows Administrator (Contract – 2 Months, Extendable)

Location : Gurgaon / Bangalore

Work Mode : Work from Home (1 day per month in office)

Role Overview : We are seeking a Senior Windows Administrator with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Windows Server installation, configuration, and patch management. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, and security of our Windows infrastructure in a hybrid (remote + on-site) setup.

Key Responsibilities : Perform installation, configuration, and patching of Windows Servers (2016 / 2019 / 2022).

Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File Services.

Handle system performance tuning, updates, and security hardening.

Troubleshoot server and network-related issues and ensure minimal downtime.

Perform backup and recovery operations and maintain proper documentation.

Support virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) and coordinate with cloud teams when required.

Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.

Required Skills & Experience : Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Windows system administration.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.

Proficient in patch management, user management, and system monitoring.

Good understanding of network fundamentals (IP, firewalls, VPNs).

Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.

Exposure to Azure AD or Office 365 administration is an added advantage.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Additional Details : Start Date : Immediate / Within 1 week preferred.

Mode : Remote (1 day per month in office for team sync / review).

Office Location : Gurgaon / Bangalore.

Contract Type : 2 months, extendable based on performance and project scope.
