As a Lead Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of our projects. You’ll collaborate with clients, cross-functional teams and stakeholders to craft user experiences that are both functional & visually compelling.
Your leadership will shape the studio’s aesthetic and strategic approach, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Your Purpose to the Team :
- As the Lead Designer, you’ll be the driving force behind our design excellence across Research, Strategy and Design
- Mentor and guide a talented team of designers, including UX and Visual Designers, set the creative direction for projects, and ensure that our design solutions not only meet but exceed client expectations
- Translate business & user needs into innovative design solutions that deliver measurable results
- Contribute to creating new business opportunities by creating design concepts for potential clients along with the business team
- Create and implement processes for efficient design delivery, training & development and hiring
- Collaborate closely with the Design Director & other departments, including Project Management and Operations, to ensure smooth execution of design projects and alignment with overall business goals
- Stay up to date with market trends and emerging technologies, adapting new tools and design methodologies ensuring efficiency in all projects

Design Leadership : Oversee the end-to-end design process for key projects, from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality, user-centric outcomesMentorship & Collaboration : Guide, support and inspire junior designers, fostering professional growth & a cohesive team dynamicStrategic Vision : Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, user needs, and design strategies that align with business objectivesQuality Assurance : Review design work critically, providing constructive feedback to maintain consistency, usability, and aesthetic integrity across all projectsClient Engagement : Work directly with clients whenever required to understand their vision, present design concepts, and translate feedback into actionable improvementsRequirements What We’re Looking For :
7+ years of professional design experience, with minimum 3 years in a leadership role managing at least 20+ designers, preferably within a design studio environmentLead and facilitate design workshops involving C-suite executives from prominent, well-established organizationsDeep expertise in user research techniques, accessible design, design systems, prototyping design toolsStrong client relationship management skills with the ability to present design concepts persuasively, and back them up with a logical rationaleExperience in mentoring junior designers & contributing to their professional growthExcellent communication & storytelling abilities that can translate complex ideas into compelling narrativesAn innovative mindset and a passion for pushing design boundaries
