As we expand our India operations, we’re looking for a seasoned Account / Customer Development Manager to manage and grow key UK accounts, focusing on commercial performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Purpose of the Role
The Account / Customer Development Manager will be responsible for managing centralized and key UK accounts end-to-end — ensuring seamless coordination between commercial, operations, and logistics teams. This role demands strong account ownership, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the FMCG or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Own & Grow Key Accounts : Manage strategic UK accounts from onboarding to delivery and aftersales.
- Drive Commercial Excellence : Negotiate and implement commercial agreements that deliver profitability and sustainable growth.
- Expand Product Portfolio : Identify opportunities to introduce new SKUs and categories within existing customer bases.
- Lead NPDs : Coordinate New Product Development and range expansion from concept to launch.
- Build Client Relationships : Foster trust-based partnerships through proactive communication and reliable execution.
- Operational Leadership : Oversee order flow, logistics coordination, delivery schedules, and payment cycles.
- Business Insights : Track sales data, forecast trends, and prepare performance reports for leadership.
Who You Are
7–10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG / Food / Retail / Supply Chain industriesProven track record in Key Account Management or Customer DevelopmentExcellent commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detailDemonstrated ability to manage end-to-end account operationsExperience working with or managing UK / European clients is a strong advantageSelf-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in UK business hoursMBA (Marketing preferred)Why Join Us
