Senior Backend Developer

About this role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to lead our team of developers. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our backend systems and ensuring the highest standards of quality and delivery discipline.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design and implementation of our backend systems in Golang.
Establish and enforce best practices for testing, documentation, and delivery discipline.
Mentor and coach junior developers to ensure consistent code quality and reviews.
Collaborate closely with product and design teams to align technical execution with business goals.

Requirements :

6+ years of backend development experience, 3+ years with Golang.

Hands-on experience leading teams through process improvements (testing, documentation, delivery discipline).

Proven track record working with event-driven architectures at scale.

Strong knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse).

Experience with ADRs and maintaining design documentation.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to set the bar for the team.

Nice to Have :

Previous experience as a tech lead in a SaaS or high-growth startup.

Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React / Remix / NextJS) to understand integration points.
