Key Responsibilities

Trend Research : Staying updated on fashion, consumer preferences, and cultural trends to inspire new designs.

Design Conceptualization : Developing creative ideas and concepts for collections, often based on themes.

Sketching & Prototyping : Creating detailed sketches, often using computer-aided design (CAD) programs, and developing prototypes to visualize designs.

Material Selection : Choosing appropriate fabrics, colors, trims, and patterns for each design.

Pattern Development : Creating patterns for garments that are suitable for mass production.

Collaboration : Working with patternmakers, seamstresses, manufacturers, and other design team members to produce the final products.
