Role Description
This is a full-time, entry-level, on-site role for a Program and Community Manager located in Bengaluru.
Roles and responsibilities
- Help scale the education programs of Writers INK
- Help organize various promotional and networking events
- Drive partnerships with organizations like film festivals, film related companies
- Assist Executive Director in all administrative work related to program operations
- Work with the social media team to oversee social media communication
- Help with research and data gathering to help scale Writers INK
- Help organize year-round and membership programs of Writers INK
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Arts, Literature, Media, Communication, Film Studies, or related fieldA min 1-year experience in film-related organizations such as film festivals, film societies etc.Freshers right out of college can also apply but should have demonstrable experience in managing college events, film societies etc.; experience in managing partnerships, events, or outreach activitiesExcellent communication and networking skills; ability to engage with collaborators, film festivals, and industry stakeholdersBasic understanding of film industry; especially festivals, screenings, and production houseFamiliarity with social media management and ability to coordinate with creative teamsPassion for nurturing creative communities and supporting talentProficient in MS Office / Google Workspace / CanvaSkills Required
