Senior Sap Finance Control Consultant

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with a proven record of handling end-to-end implementations, system enhancements, and business process optimization in SAP S / 4HANA environments.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver financial solutions that align with business goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations including business requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

Configure and support FI modules : GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Taxation .

Configure and support CO modules : Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA .

Integrate FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HR .

Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend best practices for financial processes.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to define system requirements and design scalable financial solutions .

Lead S / 4HANA Finance migration or upgrade projects if applicable.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring system stability and performance.

Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).

Provide training and documentation for end users and support teams.

Stay updated with SAP FICO latest releases, tools, and best practices .

Required Skills & Experience :

8+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations .

Strong expertise in SAP S / 4HANA Finance and integration knowledge with MM, SD, and PP modules.

Solid understanding of business accounting principles and financial reporting .

Experience in Costing, Profitability Analysis, and Financial Closing Cockpit .

Hands-on experience in configuration, testing, and issue resolution .

Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into system solutions.

Excellent communication, client-facing, and documentation skills.

Exposure to Central Finance (CFIN) or Group Reporting is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Information Technology .

SAP FICO Certification is preferred.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

Knowledge of Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) or Cash Management .

Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Group Consolidation .

Experience with integration tools (BTP, CPI, etc.) .
