This position is based in GGN / HYD.

About the Role :

As a Manager in Software Development Engineering, you will propose, prototype, design, and implement core components of our AI full-stack applications, working with globally distributed teams.

You will provide thought leadership, technical expertise, and mentorship, shaping the teams direction as we build our roadmap to achieve our vision.

Your role will bridge architecture, Agile / SAFe practices, and AI-led SDLC, ensuring technical excellence and innovation at :

  • Team Building & Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing team of software engineers, applying your experience in screening, interviewing, and growing talent.
  • Coach and mentor engineers at all levels, fostering career development, performance evaluations, and continuous learning.
  • Technical Excellence : Apply industry best practices and emerging technologies (AI / ML, cloud, modern frameworks) to improve production quality, system performance, and scalability.
  • Ensure technical integrity and stability of deployed features, balancing innovation with reliability.
  • Architecture & Delivery : Lead design, analysis, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade full-stack applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps in an Agile / SAFe environment to deliver scalable, flexible, and supportable solutions.
  • Evaluate team projects, identify skill gaps, and align expertise with business goals.
  • AI-led SDLC & Cloud : Drive the adoption of AI tools (e.g., automated testing, code reviews, generative AI) to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Leverage cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and modern CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for seamless delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teams to estimate, prioritize, and deliver on shared objectives.
  • Recognize and reward team contributions, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Requirements :

  • Education & Experience : Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in engineering management / director roles.
  • Technical Skills : Hands-on expertise in AI and full-stack development (e.g., Experience using AI in SDLC, LLM (frontier models), React / Angular, Node.js / Java / Spring, Python).
  • Strong grasp of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with large-scale, internet-scale applications and cloud-native architectures.
  • Leadership & Soft Skills : Proven ability to lead technical teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, global environment and mentor teams across time zones.
  • AI & Agile Mindset : Familiarity with AI / ML tools in SDLC (e.g., GitHub Copilot, automated testing).
  • Experience with Agile / SAFe frameworks and modern DevOps practices.
